The folders you are trying to change do not support this operation. Could not complete the operation because the service provider does not support it.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>OR<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cCannot move items. The item cannot be moved. It was either already moved or deleted, or access was denied.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There could be several reasons why this error occurred. Let us look at some solutions:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Split Oversized Outlook File<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>In several cases, it was seen that the file users were trying to move is a large PST file. If this is the case with you, you should split this large PST file into smaller sized files.<\/p>\n<p>You can split your PST file using Import and Export feature on Outlook.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open Microsoft Outlook on your system.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>File &#8211; &gt; New Items -&gt; More Items -&gt; Outlook Data File<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Create or Open Outlook Data File<\/strong> window appears. Select a location where you want to save this file and name this new Outlook Data file and click <strong>OK<\/strong>. This creates a new Outlook data file.<\/li>\n<li>Now click <strong>File &#8211; &gt; Open -&gt; Import<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Import and Export Wizard<\/strong> Select <strong>Export to a file<\/strong> option from the list and click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Now choose <strong>Outlook Data File<\/strong> and click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Now select the folder to export from.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Browse<\/strong> to select a file in which you want to export.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Open Outlook Data Files<\/strong> window opens. Now select the file in which you want to export and click <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>You can now see your selected Outlook data file in the edit box.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Finish<\/strong> to begin the process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A new window <strong>Create Outlook Data File<\/strong> opens. You can apply the password to protect the file or click <strong>Cancel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This procedure creates a new PST file.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Reset permission to the file<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Some files or folders are password protected. Only the system administrator will have rights to copy or make any sort of changes to the file.<\/p>\n<p>You have to reset this permission, before moving this file to folders.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>Repair your Outlook file with ScanPST.exe<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>You cannot move the items on your Outlook if the PST file is corrupted.<\/p>\n<p>You can repair the PST file using Microsoft\u2019s inbuilt repair tool scanpst.exe.<\/p>\n<p>You can find the scanpst.exe file:<\/p>\n<p>On Outlook 2007 and previous editions: <strong><em>C:\\Users\\%username%\\AppData\\Local\\Microsoft\\Outlook\\<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Outlook 2010 and onwards:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>C:\\Users\\%username%\\Documents\\Outlook Files\\<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Double-click on scanpst.exe file.<\/li>\n<li>Click on <strong>Browse<\/strong> and select the corrupt or damaged PST file.<\/li>\n<li>Now click on <strong>Start<\/strong> to begin the scanning process.<\/li>\n<li>The repair tool scans the file and lists down errors.<\/li>\n<li>To repair these errors, click on <strong>Repair<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Once the repair process is complete, you can close Outlook and restart it again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Sometimes, repair process does not complete successfully and you will get errors.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong>Repair PST file using Remo Repair Outlook<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Remo Repair Outlook can easily repair your corrupt or damaged PST files and retrieve all the information.
