If you encounter such a situation when synchronizing a .ost file with the Exchange Server mailbox, then this troubleshooting guide will help you resolve the problem.<\/p>\n<h2>Steps to Fix Error Synchronizing Folder in Outlook<\/h2>\n<h3>First check if offline folders are being synchronized<\/h3>\n<p>Let\u2019s first check whether offline folders are being synchronized.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Right click on the offline folder and select <strong>Properties<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Synchronization<\/strong> and check the \u2018<strong>Statistics for This Folder<\/strong>\u2019 tab<\/li>\n<li>In the Statistics tab, check the following fields:\n<ul>\n<li>Last Synchronized On<\/li>\n<li>Server folder contains # Items<\/li>\n<li>Offline Folder Contains # Items<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If the synchronization works properly, then the number of items in Server folder and Offline folder will be the same. If not, you need to verify the profile settings in the manner as discussed below.<\/p>\n<h3>Verify profile settings in Outlook<\/h3>\n<p>Verifying profile settings is different for various Outlook versions.
