Solved – Windows Movie Maker Won’t Import H.264 MP4/MOV File

You have just recorded MP4 videos on your camera. You are eager to edit those videos, create a great looking output and share it with the world.

When you import these MP4 videos to Windows Movie Maker application, it doesn’t recognize it. You have encoded these files with the H. 264 format. You can import and play these files without any issues on Windows Media Player, but Windows Movie Maker is selective about H.264 format files of AVI, MP4, MKV containers.
